Sustainable Supply Chains

Driving traceability and positive supply chain impact.

Olam operates in a number of supply chains where social and environmental challenges exist. Poverty is often at the root of these issues. These supply chains include cocoa, coffee, hazelnuts, palm oil, rice and wood products.

We implement programmes as defined by our ten material areas, advocating and implementing international best practices. We also focus on Innovation and Technology, to help us get beyond incremental improvements and achieve our Purpose to re-imagine global agriculture and food systems.

Our sustainable insights platform – AtSource – is enabling us to leverage data from our supply chains to focus on transformative actions and create transparency for each stage of the supply chain journey.

    Third Party Assessments

    • We work with third-parties that assess and report our progress to achieve sustainable supply chains.

    • We acknowledge there’s still much work to do, and we’re collaborating with farmers, communities, governments, industry, NGOs and other stakeholders, to find ways to deliver real and lasting progress.
