Olam’s Head of Rubber speaks at global conference about strategies for a sustainable supply chain

Ashish Govil, Senior Vice President and Head of Rubber Division is speaking at the 8th Global Rubber & Tire Markets conference in Jakarta on the 20th August. Mr Govil will consider the impact of price volatility and macro trends on the global rubber supply, and then draw on Olam’s experience of managing the opportunities and challenges of vertical integration. In particular, he will highlight the need for sustainable production and offer suggestions for a Rubber Standard.
