Olam International Limited (the “Company”) refers to the announcement dated 2 October 2007 made by the Company in connection with the acquisition of 100% equity state in PT Dharmapala Usaha Sukses (the “Acquisition”).
The Company is pleased to announce that the Acquisition was completed. Following the completion of the Acquisition, PT Dharmapala Usaha Sukses becomes a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of Far East Agri Pte. Ltd. (a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company) and an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.
None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect in the above transaction.
