We refer to our announcement dated 16 February 2005 regarding SGX’s waiver of Listing Rule 705(2)(b), granting us an extension of the reporting timeline for announcement of first half interim financial results for the period ended 31 December 2004.
We wish to clarify to our shareholders that the extension was sought considering both (a) that the interval between our listing date and the reporting deadline was extremely short and a significant amount of resources from the Company were tied up in preparing for the listing of the Company and (b) that it might not be appropriate for the Company to make annoucements with regard to its interim financial results during the Stabilisation Period.
