  • 100% trained in Good Agricultural Practices over 36 training days
  • 250 metric tonnes of Busela (small onion bulbs) distributed to various smallholder farmers for a second phase winter crop
3. Labour practices
  • Along with our technical training sessions and Good Agricultural Practices training, farmers were encouraged to send their children to school.

  • 5,000 tonnes procured from 500 hectares
5. Quality
  • US$14,000 paid in quality premiums for large and uniform bulbs
6. Traceability
  • 100% hectares GPS mapped
7. Social and infrastructure investment
  • 10 health camps organised with almost 800 participants
  • 4 veterinary camps organised with almost 400 farmers having their animals inspected
8. Environmental impact
  • 15 farmers trained in drip/sprinkler irrigation use
